This short from Paramount begins in a courtroom. It seems that someone shot Walter (Walter Catlett) in the butt and the court case concerns this shooting. When Elmer (Grady Sutton) testifies, a long flashback sequence follows. It seems that Elmer had just married a woman and soon after, Walter insinuates himself into their home. Elmer soon realizes his wife is Walter's ex-wife! And, Walter is spending WAY too much time and attention on the lady...to the point where you can understand EXACTLY why Walter got shot! What's next? I generally don't love these films produced by Mack Sennett for Paramount. However, here the story is good and the gags work well...making it a pleasant 20 minutes of viewing.
