One of the best Friday the 13th Fan Films!
2 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I've been a fan of the Friday the 13th franchise for many years. I've also been watching fan films for a long time as well. I've seen some good quality fan films and I've also seen cheep fan films that were clearly filmed in someone's backyard. But this I can safely say was one heck of a quality fan film.

This is a direct sequel to Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood and it's a great continuation of that movie. It continues Tina's story and introduces a new story as well. The new character Rose is a very interesting character a character that has an emotional backstory and is a great fit to be friends with Tina. The crew did a great job with the setting making it look like it's set in the 80's. I also enjoyed seeing the character of Creighton Duke from Jason goes to Hell and he is just as good as ever. But the best part was of course when the star of the Friday the 13th franchise Jason Voorhees arrives to do what he does best. The soldiers were a good group of victims and the deaths were top notch with great practical effects. Jason Brooks who also played Jason in another Friday the 13th fan film was great as Jason again. My only gripe is that Jason isn't in the film that much. But it makes up for it with well written characters.

Overall Rose Blood is a great Friday the 13th fan film that should please the fans of the franchise especially the fans of Part VII. It's got good characters, good action, good deaths, good effects and even good cameos from a few Part VII actors. Check this film out.
