The first half of the episode is a bit of a chore, they're going over a lot of old ground, Russ Abbott once again central to the action, and adding some humour to a fairly pedestrian plot. We also have a run of the mill scene between Clegg and Truly, you had to hand it to the pair, they just kept going.
However the second half of the episode is really funny, Clarke put some real thought into this one, and for a change Pearl is put in a more central role, she's the one crashing in, I don't think she had ever been made to be the fool before.
The closing scenes at very funny, overall it's a grand start to the final series, 7/10.
