To me, this series was actually quite fun and entertaining...for the most part. I was glad to see how entertaining they made education, because its not very easy to do. I especially liked to see that the main character personally interacted with the animals, and told you things you most likely didn't know about them - heck, I saw animal I haven't seen before. My favorite characters were BTG and Bonnie; they were smart and funny, and while they enjoyed the same things, they were different enough to make them fun enough to watch.
The only one I absolutely hated was Dietrich. He was absolutely useless. The guy was a loser, a coward, and just a paranoid good for nothing! If he was cautious and the voice of reason, that would have made him a much better character! But everything about him was just...hopelessly pathetic! If he does return in the second season, if seriously hope its only for a limited time and they get someone much more interesting for the group; like a sexy partner for Bonnie.
I also have to say that Danny Wilde was also a character I despice! It was completely obvious that the guy didn't know what he was talking about!
