Warning: Spoilers
"Deadly Dating Game" (a.k.a., "Deadly Radio Romance") was a film that kept struggling and eventually failed to deliver dramatic tension and the core elements of a thriller.

There was a decent premise to the narrative of a popular Texas talk radio host on a program called "Love on the Air." The star of the show invites fans to recommend dates for her after her breakup with her boyfriend. But there is a stalker who starts to ruin her life. Then, the nicest one of the dates is murdered. The beleaguered host, Shannon Baker, soldiers on with her show and seeks to discover the identity of her deadly secret admirer.

The repetitious studio scenes failed to convey the essence of a genuine romantic talk radio show. And there was too much collateral damage with the completely gratuitous deaths of poor Evelyn in New York and poor Ian in Austin.

But the fatal flaw of the film was in making obvious too soon who was the stalker. It was easy to rule out Gavin, who was clearly too decent to be the perpetrator. Without a range of other potential culprits, there was only one possible psycho within the circle of Shannon who revealed herself with too many giveaways.

The likable cast could not salvage this train wreck of a film. At one point, the heroine Shannon cries out, "Somebody's watching me!!!" And by that time, the audience knew exactly who that was.
