I watched this with a friend and wow. It's so bad. The storyline feels very rushed like the director didn't think to actually write out the characters. Because the lack of character development it's almost impossible to care about this movie as the bad things that happen are happening to the lead which we know two sentences about. It felt really weird that the Asian love interest/true killer murders the victims with a chop stick basically. A bit odd/stereotypical/kinda contrived. It would have been more interesting and made more sense if instead of the director throwing in random blood shed in the middle of the movie- he took the time to further develop the ride share villain. We did not need two killers. The ride share guy could have a much deeper and twister backstory and not just be a dude who loves his co-killer who wants to make a buck. Worst movie I have watched this year by far. Lazy writing.
