Great to see Sam develop as a character, doing something he thought would make his father proud without realising the consequences back home. Then, faced with a challenging decision, opts to do the right thing with the backing of his team - demonstrating the new confidence he has as a player and a person under the Lasso way. Outstanding.

Why folk are complaining about politics coming in to a show like this, or the virtue signalling, or the leftist tack is beyond me. Clearly they are blissfully unaware that capitalism and politics touch everything we do and we experience, and having a show that doesn't reflect that is negligent. Sam used his immense privilege to forward a message to help his community back home- something sports players have been doing for years. The opposite of being "woke" is still being "asleep" - a situation in which bigotry was rife and people were more marginalised, and I don't understand why people want that back.

Nora was a fantastic addition to the episode and her scene with Ted in the beginning was excellent.

Great episode.
