Err... How about a little less self-righteous
6 August 2021
Warning: Spoilers
First off, I'm an ardent environmentalist. If you spill oil, you should be forced to live in the mess until you clean it up. That said, the subject could've been handled with far less sanctimony and without the self-congratulatory, virtue signaling tone. I'm so brave that I put tape over a logo! Not one person dissents. Gimme a break.

In point of fact, regardless of my beliefs, I've had it up to here with my entertainment being invaded by messaging. Shut up, join Greenpeace and do something real.

And exactly what do you want your audience to do about it? Try a tack hammer rather than a sledgehammer. Place the seed of awareness, then get on with the show.

I was enjoying this (except for the pubescent swearing and teaching adults how to behave) for the first 20 minutes, hence the 6. Then the MESSAGE. Eff me.

If they don't treat the consequences realistically in the next episode, I'm out of here. Even if they do, I'm not sure I want to watch it. What part of escapism escapes you TL crew?
