Torture to watch
28 June 2021
I really wanted to enjoy this show, but it's just so aweful. The maincharacter started out somewhat interesting - unpredictable and strong. But like pretty much all 2020s male heroes he is shown to be incompetent and a fool. His companions outsmart and outpower him by far and look down on him most of the time. So what about the main villain? Even worse! Dracula is a total whimp. He has some powers yes, but he is dumb, has no charimsa and commands no respect to anybody. Nobody fears him. He is not leading his forces, asks for help all the time and just sits on a chair moping around over his lost love. All characters in this show are painfully one dimensional. They have a minimum of a backstory and that's all they talk about and explains 100% of what they do. The dialogs are dull at first and get more and more annyoing until it's nothing but torture. The writing for the show can be best discribed by what a 15 year old would think off as homework over the weekend. Low low efford. So does the action gonna save the show - no. The action scenes are rare and short and get boring pretty fast. It's usually a slash resulting in body parts to come off.
