This was not a complete film experience in that it fell apart 3/4 of the way through. Contrived & stupid plot (if it can be called one) where the two leads had NO relationship but somehow went through the motions of "falling in love" anyway. The dog & the heroine's mom were real characters & I enjoyed the black characters for their humanity and believability (but NOT the leads.) Don't waste your time if you have anything else to watch...
