I tried but the lead actors were not good

I get the nostalgia effect they were going for but the two lead actors were just not likable, especially the one wearing a tank top the whole time but kept stroking his mustache (that part was kinda creepy every time he brought up his mustache). But Tamlyn Tomita was pretty.
