There's a scene so ridiculous that it should have been changed. A small dog tries to signal Patrick that Finlay Currie is hiding under a bed. Patrick looks in the room where the dog is barking furiously at the hiding Currie but the officer doesn't bother to even look at what the dog is hysterical about and just leaves the flat. This was so bad it made me burst out laughing. English movie cops are written as being oblivious, especially in the Edgar Wallace Mystery Theater films and other British crime films. (American cops are written as violent and stupid.)
