Two eps in, def. not HBAAL, but more leaning towards Archer/Frisky Dingo dialogue.

I have listened to podcasts, read reviews and watched (two) episodes at the time of this review and would agree that going into this premiere, I was expecting the same Hanna Barbara world of misfits and their crazy cases. Whether these creators take this series on an episodic run or continuous storyline feature is to be seen. I have set my DVR to "set it and then forget it" till several eps. Pile up. Would I recommend Birdgirl? Sure on the pretense that the viewers go in knowing this show is its own creation (up to this point). There maybe some original character crossover, but not at the expense of Hanna Barbara. Those days have set in the West my friend.
