Does this film make me go as wild as I do for the original TV series? Check out my review to find out!

"The Wild Thornberrys Movie" (2002), I remember when I used to watch "The Wild Thornberrys" animated series on Nickelodeon. It's one of my top ten favorite Nicktoon shows! For a while, I used to think to myself: "I wish they would do a movie!" Sure enough, wishes do come true! When I first heard the announcement that this film was in production, I was thrilled. I couldn't wait to go and see it in the theater. Sure enough, when I first saw this movie, it did not disappoint in the slightest. All of my expectations were met, and then some. It also has found a spot on my top ten all-time favorite 2D animated films list! "The Wild Thornberrys Movie" has a very funny yet exciting storyline, flawless voice acting, beautiful animation and also a phenomenal soundtrack. The plot is, Eliza Thornberry goes on a secret quest to save a baby cheetah named Tally from dangerous poachers. When she tries to save him as he gets captured, she gets in trouble and then ends up being sent to a boarding school in London. From there, it's non-stop laughs, excitement and suspense. It's a perfect blend of comedy, action and drama. Much like the original TV series itself, but here, it's elevated to a whole different level! The original TV show has plenty of comedy and action, but this film ups the ante and gets you rooting for our heroes to win at the end. As for the voice acting, it's nothing short of sublime. Every voice actor/actress brings their respectable character(s) to life. All of the voice actors and actresses from the TV show are cast for this movie, and just like in the original show, they nail it with their characters! Plus, their voice acting gives their characters a lot of heart and soul, where you actually care for them personally. The animation is nothing short of beautiful, it's just like watching the original TV show on the big screen! But regardless, 2D beats 3D CGI any day. Finally, the soundtrack is quite simply a masterwork. The TV show had great music that really helped to tie everything together and this film score is no exception. The whole soundtrack is flawless, my personal favorite song in this movie is, "Father and Daughter" by Paul Simon. Every time I hear that song, it always reminds me of this film immediately. Plus, it's just a wonderful song in general! Paul Simon is a very talented singer and musician, and that song justifies his musical talents even further. "The Wild Thornberrys Movie" is an animated masterpiece that's every bit as good as the original TV show, if not better. I can watch it over and over again and never get bored with it! Of course, I give this movie 5 out of 5 stars on my scale, which equates to 10 out of 10 IMDB stars. If you haven't seen "The Wild Thornberrys Movie", or the original TV show, go check them out! I promise that you won't be disappointed. Go watch it, or else the poachers may hunt you down!
