I saw this movie when I was a young person and then many years passed and I just saw it again. I thought I remembered that Harvey was a 6 foot rabbit but I also thought he was a rabbit that everyone could see and hear and not just Elwood. It's funny how memory works because the only proof you get about Harvey's existence is at the very end of the movie and it isn't what you expect. This is a perfect comedy that has a special lesson about the difference between being smart and right versus being a nice and friendly person.
