Marcus Jones (Wesley Snipes) is a CIA agent assigned to be a bodyguard to a corrupt arms dealer Smith (Robert Davi) in Detroit. His team are due to take him down but Smith has a cardiac arrest.
Worse, Marcus's team Zander (Gary Daniels) and Floria (Zoe Bell) do a double cross. They plan to use Smith to steal his share of the money from the Redvale Corporation vaults.
They just need to get Smith out of hospital and get rid of Marcus.
The movie is bookended with Marcus telling his story to Father Clarence (Ernie Hudson.) That implies Marcus won the day.
This is a cheap unimaginative action thriller. Daniels is a martial arts star but for most of the film he just shoots people.
The way Zander and Floria pressure the nurse who is treating Smith is laughable.
