Gangs of London: Episode 9 (2020)
Season 1, Episode 9

Quite underwhelming

Warning: Spoilers
GOL finale is not only disappointing but also underwhelming. Most of the characters behavior is out of place, Elliot a dedicated police officer all of a sudden got turned, and start shooting the police? Sharon shooting a police officer for practically no reason, in her house, sitting on her couch, how's she going to clean up this mess? Dumani killing Marian and her men in a broad daylight? and am I miss something on Floriana's part? 'cause the last time we saw her she was running for her life and her baby's, how is she, all of sudden, dressed in a nice clothes and in what way is she "going to help Marian"? Elliot killing Sean, it's understandable and a nice twist but I don't think it's a good idea to get rid of almost all the main characters that have been developed well throughout the season so soon. Now the wow factor is gone, since it's the whole fallout of the mobster family thing that's keeping things intriguing. overall, the finale makes things uninteresting, and the setup for s2 isn't that colorful enough to make one want to come back for s2.

However, the performances are amazing all around, the cinematography remains top-notch, and the score of course set the appropriate mood for the scenes.
