I wish someone could write a code that ensured everyone could watch this film before they see porn for the first time! Although this has nudity, that is the extent of the similarities this documentary shares with the genre.
I have so much admiration to the two individuals who starred in this film. They were so authentically vulnerable... as much as their British sensibilities would allow anyways, which made them both all the more endearing. Them sharing these brilliantly juxtaposed experiences taught and made me feel so much in less than an hour.
The respect for Rosie's choices and her bravery in making them was such an important thing to see. Hers is a story I wish more young people could be exposed to and show some understanding and empathy towards.
Clive is such an outstanding individual. The healthy attitude and humo(u)r he had as he working through the guilty feelings of sex that he was raised with... and the love and goodness he projects... it is truly a wonder if women were not lined up around the block to be with him after this film!
As some one who stumbled upon this while looking for the more famous movie of a similar name, I am so glad choose to watch this one instead (sorry Steve Carell!)
