In a different skin

Let me just state from the start, that just because this may have some points where you could compare it to 50 shades of Grey, it doesn't mean it warrants to be compared! By the way the movie acknowledges that fact, by one of the characters saying something to that effect and our main character dismissing it. You'll know when you see the scene.

But back to this, that is more of a thinking mans and more complex "love story". Two very broken down humans ... so broken down, so lost, so fragile, that while you'd think they are a perfect fit, you also understand that it can backfire immensly! I keep mentioning with German movies when I'm surprised by the acting. And I know that sounds bad and dismissing. That is not the overall intention, I just like to point out when I think that acting actually can be seen on screen. Like in this case. We're not talking De Niro and Pacino here, but this is more than solid work from the people involved.

The subject matter (and the nudity within) will be appalling to some. They won't be able to see what this is really about though. Because there is sex and intercourse, but it is about more than just the flesh - or the skin as the title suggests
