I'm going to be an odd man out here. I'll first confess that I'm only 27 minutes in to it, and I'm just going to switch it off for the time being, that I just can't handle it any more.
The subject material is completely fascinating to me. But as an example of documentary film making, it seems more deserving of a Razzie than the glowing reviews and ratings I'm seeing here.
There's a bit of excess focus on the personality of Kirk Sorensen. So far, most of the film has been excessive close ups of him talking ... almost ranting and babbling much of the time. He's not especially obnoxious or evil or unlikable or any such thing. It's just an ineffective exposition of very interesting information and opinion.
