The Kid is an incredible film that keeps the audience intrigued. This film no matter the age is humorous and interesting. This is a film I would say is great for the family and very funny. Chaplin did a fantastic job to make this film comedic and with a lot of plot twists which keep the audience keep wanting to watch. This film is still relevant because of the obvious comedy which does not need context and is funny to everyone. Society has changed a lot from 100 years ago where they were more judgmental and less sympathetic to what other people go through. Chaplin's acting adds to the film by adding humor and drama to the film. It is so crucial to the film that i believe the film wouldn't be humorous or as respected famous. The scene with the angels and devils I believe is to show morals of Chaplin of right and wrong and his beliefs. Chaplin showed some of his believes and religious impact of the way he thinks. The star of this film is the kid because his acting is phenomenal and just committed to the roll and really gave the film more reasons of why it did so well and why is still relevant today. Overall this is a great film and really timeless because anyone can enjoy it up to today.
