Season 1, Episode 1
10/10
An amazing opening episode.
10 September 2020
Beth wakes up to discover her son is missing, she than has to face every mother's worst nightmare, the tragic death of her son.

Chris Chibnall has spent the last few years on Doctor Who, we will all have our views, some think he's done a great job, freshening up the show, others think he's massacred it with a woke agenda, many views. One thing most fans agree with, he did a mesmerising job with Broadchurch.

This tragic, incredible first series begins with this outstanding opener, it's very upsetting, but you as a viewer want to learn the truth, and discover why.

It flashes past all of the main players, every character we see in the opening will play a part.

The laugh at the time surrounded the wonderful Olivia Colman, who was quite literally in everything, she's terrific, it's Jodie however who shows how good she is.

Captivating, 10/10.
