It actually turned out to be a nice animated movie...

Well, first of all I can't really claim to be much of a fan of superheroes, much less Wonder Woman. But hey, when given a chance to sit down and watch something that I haven't already seen, I will take that chance. And so was the case as well with this 2019 DC animated movie "Wonder Woman: Bloodlines".

Was it really necessary to showcase the origin of Diana yet another time? We've already seen this in comic books and in the 2017 live action movie. So having to sit through that yet again just felt redundant.

That being said, then I will say that the storyline in "Wonder Woman: Bloodlines" was a bit simplistic, but directors Justin Copeland and Sam Liu more than made up for what the movie lacked in story with sheer action and fighting. And that definitely was a treat for me as a viewer.

As for the characters in the storyline, well thumbs up for those parts. There were some pretty interesting characters and villains throughout the storyline. I liked that aspect of the animated movie quite a bit.

With this being an animated movie, having a good voice acting performance cast is crucial, and I do say that they definitely had put together a good ensemble of actresses and actors for "Wonder Woman: Bloodline". It was definitely a nice treat to have Rosario Dawson do the voice for Wonder Woman herself.

Now, as an animated movie, I do like the particular drawing style and artform that they used in this 2019 animated movie. It felt like a very nice blending of comic book and old school 1980s cartoon. So that definitely appealed to me and helped add to the overall enjoyment of the animated movie.

I am rating "Wonder Woman: Bloodlines" a six out of ten stars. It was a nice surprise for me, and I will say that it is worth taking the time to sit down and watch.
