Great Idea - Poor execution
5 August 2020
The concept is unique and opens up to many possibilities and situations. But the story fails to do justice to the concept. The sets, the language and the characters - everything seems to have a " me too " feel to it - as in we have seen all of them in so many of the films based in Delhi. There are very few genuinely funny moments even though all the characters keep trying. Many subplots do no add up and a few like the erotic story reading sessions appear forced. The actors are really good - specially Manu Rishi delivers an outstanding performance. He conveys the helplessness of a single father dealing with a whimsical wife and teenage kids perfectly well. Mahie Gill though seems wasted in a role where her character isn't developed with depth.

The movie does test your patience and you might feel like not watching it till the end a few times.
