I'm Not Indian
3 August 2020
Warning: Spoilers
But I really enjoyed the female empowerment in this film it tells the idiots in a country plagued by women being held back and kept at home as basically maids disguised as wives. Looking past the message which is good and isn't obnoxious feminism but the good kind of feminism. I don't know how much this is a problem in India but this message applies to a lot of girls around the world in third world countries. The movie was hilarious and I like Varun and his sidekick and the twist where Alia didn't come to the wedding and Varun trying to kidnap her and eventually both of them get together after actually falling in love.
