Warning: Spoilers
Toxie while getting ready to become a dad, also does battle with his evil alternate reality version of himself, and must protect his wife in the process of this aggressively witless sequel. There is certainly a lot of bad taste, but to be offended is to grant this obnoxious tripe more power than it has and to treat this more serious than it deserves. The only thing offensive and maddening about this slop is how painfully unfunny it is. It's really something else. It's so bad, you wonder if someone edited out the laugh track. Again there are abortion, lynching and school shooting jokes etc, but not one shred of aptitude on how to present this in a humorous way. The superhero angle is nil, as Toxie is basically in an alternate reality and doesn't even go up against his evil doppelganger til the end. So that leaves us the comedy angle and it feels like a 12 year old trying to shock his friends on the playground, a 12 year old doing such very badly. Keep in mind I own Class Of Nuke Em High on DVD and came real close to recommending the first Toxic Avenger, but this utterly unfunny and painfully inept sequel is just dire nonsense. Even if you loved the 3rd one, you will have a rough go of this garbage.
