10/10
One of the season's best!

Warning: Spoilers
Ever since the strong first quartet of episodes to this freshman season, the following three episodes didn't quite live up to that standard. But this episode SHIV PART TWO is a welcome return to form. In Part One, Cindy was pretty much the only good thing about the episode. But in this second part, everything else was actually good too! Meg DeLacy somehow topped her strong performance in Part One with an even more amazing performance in Part Two. NOW I know why the writers have been saving this awesome teen character because they were afraid she'd upstage Stargirl! LOL And in fact, she pretty much did in this one. Also Luke Wilson continues to act superbly in this series.

This one featured several great scenes of two-character interactions: Pat-Courtney, Mike-Courtney, Pat-Beth and last but not least Cindy-Courtney. The family dynamic among Pat, Courtney, Mike and Barb is fantastic. Thanks to being paired with the awesome Pat, this has got to be the first episode of the entire season where Beth's character actually fit in. The scenes of them infiltrating the Burman home were pretty funny. If Pat hadn't joined Beth on her poorly conceived mission, I shudder to think how cringe those scenes would have ended up with just Beth and those silly goggles going solo. Also, Cindy's stepmother Bobbi was a hilarious character in this one. Why does the show keep hiding all of this great talent? But Cindy herself really owned this episode. A perfect balance of being an impetuous and spoiled teenager but also a deliciously evil villain. By the end of the season, I might be coming back to this episode and ranking it at or near the top.
