Too surreal. I got much of it, but didn't get all of it. Tried hard to be something existential, surreal, symbolic, visionary. But ended up being grimy, ugly, too psychological, uneven, inconsistent.
Remember those movies you're told that you should like, and if you don't like it, you're not smart enough to get it? Add this to that list. The joke is on us, the audience. While we're scrambling to find reasons to like it, and to figure it out, the filmmakers and some more woke critics are laughing at us.
This is one of those movies that you want to stop halfway through. Like they tell you when taking tests, "go with your first answer."
