I've never understood the logic of this episode. Somehow, Michael Scott has done a great thing by giving away money. Somehow, that motivated kids to stay in school, instead of dropping out and getting into drugs. That makes no sense. You can't help people just by giving them something. You have to give them something to work towards. A goal. Not just a hand out.
