King's Man (2010)
5/10
Not horrible

For starters: someone (obviously attached to the project) said this was a great movie for children. Let me state that NO, IT IS NOT. This is a movie about human trafficking! A lot of gun violence as well as images of dead and abused children. It is mainly about 3 preteen girls who are abducted, but it is not for children. Ok, review: The script is okay and is shot on mediocre equipment. The acting of every adult is subpar with a few exceptions, Doua Moua who plays a man in drag (oddly enough he goes on to play one of the three characters that dress in drag in Mulan), and Casper, the captor/guard of the girls, played by John Lee Brody (Star Trek: Into the Darkness). The three girls did a decent job as well. The worst of them (character-wise and acting-wise) was the wannabe Rambo paster, the "hero" character named David played by Jose Rosete. The character was unconvincing and hard to take seriously. And his acting was laughable when it wasn't cringeworthy. Overall watchable if you can't find anything else on Amazon Prime.
