Every scene with Picard in it is great and reminds me a lot of Logan. If they'd gone that road of a thoughtful slow show about an old man coping with his past, it be an easy 10/10.
But then we also get ninja cyborgs... which ok, I get that CBS is too afraid to make a series without action at all.
But the Sci in this SciFi series is still as flimsy as it was in Discovery. Especially the entire scene in the Daystrom Institute is just really bad. And as a result the dialogue is also really bad and vague.
But overall this is a promising start.
