As someone who loves historical and mythical documentaries I was extremely disappointed.
It's documentaries done on a very tight budget. Don't expect any re-enactments of events. Do expect to be bombarded with paintings and illustratations.
Fiinally after the 3-4 minute intro to each episode, that episode then features 3-4 stories. So about 7 to 10 minutes for each story. Awful and boring enough that I may not get through all the episodes. Each to their own but personally I found the presenter to be as dull as the content. I have hundreds of documentary shows and several hundred one-off documovies. I don't think I have ever been so underwhelmed.
