I've enjoyed the series so far, but this episode was in shambles. Very stereotypical beauty and the beast type story for Geralt, or maybe even a Shrek style ending (if Shrek wasn't fun).
Yennefer's story was incredibly boring. There's no suspense, just someone chasing her who doesn't even matter. Very filler content that's all supposedly meaningful because it ends with a dead baby (ugh). They even immediately identify who is chasing them without any suspense. The villain doesn't utter one line of dialogue and just has their CGI "dog" be animated around. Very disappointing writing for us long time Witcher fans.
