Warning: Spoilers
First off, it's terrible for any parent to lose a child.

This film is so terrible- it's a bungled mess, jumping all over the place and not dealing with the facts of the shooting.

The report from the CCRB seemed amateurish. They had a "witness" who was part of the gang that returned to rob the couple (who they threatened the night before). The couple called the police because of the threats from the night before.

When thugs returned they were ARMED and there to demand more money, but the police were there and foiled the would be robbers.

But all of these facts were downplayed by the victims family AND the filmmaker.

When the mother called the radio station to speak with the mayor, to ask him questions, all she did was talk over him- so obviously, she didn't want to ask him questions, she wanted to further her agenda...make her son look like a boy-scout.

The filmmaker brought up the criminal record of the people they came to rob...another ploy to make the the thugs look innocent. Besides, most criminals don't want the cops around. Innocent people don't come to collect money with GUNS! The bottom line is the cops were there to prevent an armed robbery (or worse) and surprised the criminals.

They also, had people giving statements about what this person said and what they told them happened. Another guy claimed he moved to Puerto Rico because he was a "witness and saw everything".

It's so one sided that it's ridiculous!
