At turns heartwarming and heartbreaking, RACING COLT deftly balances comedy and drama and is consistently absorbing. Guided along by impressively surefooted direction, the writing and performances present fully realized characters who are compelling because they're so identifiable. The film is a shot to the heart, and I highly recommend it.
