I can't believe people liked this version. First of all, it was badly cast. None of the actors were particularly good at acting or singing. Secondly, they rewrote enough of it to make it a very poor production. The audience of teenyboppers was very distracting and took away from an already poor screenplay. They left out one of my favorite songs (Seasons of love). They did a reprise of it and then again with the original cast, but it was sadly missing from this performance. The entire show was just sadly missing enough quality that I was sad to have watched it. I'll stick with the original movie on DVD.
