I liked the acting and the few funny parts, but this movie was pointless. The ending was the worst part, because nothing happened besides the main character walking down a road. There are so many questions that the ending could've addressed. Did he return home? Did he see his parents again? Did he continue being religious? Did he continue making jade sculptures? Nothing was answered or resolved.
