Edith+Eddie (2017)
3/10
good story but not the truth

Warning: Spoilers
At the start documentary, I found that the daughter was demonizing and cruel and the other sister was the had better quality's but we read an article and my opinion changed very quickly. The filmmaker is very good with their symbolism of the brick house with no windows and on a tilt to show the house in Florida as a prison. The audio is very good at making us fell a certain way especially when Edith sang about seeing Eddie down by the water. In one scene, Eddie is fighting against the caretaker calling her evil and how do you sleep at night in this scene they use subtitles with a black screen so we focus on the fight and not on anything else. Edith does not want to go to Florida because she raised her kids in the house she was living in and that she was clamming that Patrice (sister) husband abused her. In the documentary they were trying to show that the health care system is dodge but it does not show the real truth. They made one of the sister the bad one but in truth the other sister was taking money, and they make the caretaker sound really bad, but she was doing her job they had to move Edith because there was an upstairs bathroom that was a risk and she was losing weight and not taking her drugs to help her. This documentary is not the truth so I do not recommend it there was a call to action because when you watch it you fell like you need to help and change the American health system.
