What Goes Around, Comes Around had so much potential. The physical comedy from Carter is well above par and the crisis of the week pulls in everyone in to solve the problem - all good and well there. Unfortunately, the episode gets mired in the land of the melodrama. Zoe and Tess are both presented with offers they can't refuse; the first is improbable (if she is compared with her fellow Eureka students) and the second both doesn't make sense in light of previous plotlines and serves to allow her display the same selfishness she has had all season. In addition to their improbability, both offers also demonstrate how Carter's heart is so much bigger and understanding than any of the women in his life. Both women dragged the episode down. Bottom line is that the Eva-half of the season was so much better than the Tess-half and it's a shame we had to end with Tess.
