From Fear to Eternity was both a solid episode and very clearly a midseason finale. All of Eva's secrets are revealed and the ramifications of her past are the key to the primary crisis of the episode. It was a exceptionally satisfying end to the (now known to be) half-season arc. A few story technical points kept this episode from being perfect (the early dues ex machine, misquoting actual scientific facts, etc.), but Lexie was at her most pleasant of all of her appearances this season, there was romance and friendship, Jo gets the best line of the episode, and a couple of big surprises to pull us all back for the second half of the season after the break.
