As episodes go, this was one of the best this season, but that isn't saying much. It's too late to save this particular story-line. It's been stretched so far and Negan has proved so annoying that all anyone wants is for him to be dead and for us to move on, to ANYTHING.
Can the entire series be salvaged? MEthinks the shark has already been jumped, but maybe by some miracle, we can resurrect this zombie series, about zombies.
At this point, and with the characters so scattered, do we even care what happens to them? I'd like to, but this series has become so diluted I'm having a hard time deciding who - if anyone - I would actually miss.
Load up our favourites, get the heck outta dodge. Entirely new location. New challenges and fresh ideas are a must to keep this on the rails.
