It really is a good episode. Great lines, great acting, great action. The timeline ? Well, there are more than 24 hours since Gendry starts running until Danny arrives. So it is more than enough for the raven to fly and the dragons to fly back. Why does the Knight King attack Viserion and not Drogon ? As you see if you pay attention, the scene in which he walks to get closer, has Drogon in the background. So he intends to hit Drogon. Then, Viserion turns and comes towards the Knight King. Only then he targets Viserion. You can see the spear going almost vertically towards Viserion and hitting him from below. So Viserion was almost above the Knight King when the spear hit him.
The Arya - Sansa dialog I think is on purpose as it is. We will see in the season finale why... (I hope).
Now, the Knight King has a dragon. What will he do with it ? And how fast will he do it ?
