ABBA: Our Last Video Ever (2004 Music Video)
8/10
Ridiculously over the top and it could hardly be any better

Warning: Spoilers
This is also a description that fits the Swedish band ABBA doesn't it? So this 6.5-minute film actually fits them very well. "ABBA: Our Last Video Ever" was written and directed by Carl Åstrand and ABBA member Björn Ulvaeus is also a co-writer. This also shows how much the band members approved of this little work done for Eurovision Song Contest and this also shows by the fact that we see little animated figures of all four of them in here once again performing together in order to try to convince a record company boss and you can decide for yourself if there is some hidden criticism against casting shows in here as ABBA never would have made it this big in the era of casting shows. But maybe not. In any case, in one of the most random moments I have seen in a while ABBA really gets Cher grooving. But how could they not. We hear some of their finest songs in , 4 songs as a total I believe and references to other songs too. I quite enjoyed this little movie and you will also find more names well known today, such as the recently deceased Nyqvist (rip). As a whole, a must-see for Abba lovers and a pretty good watch for everybody else. I highly recommend to check it out.
