Bringing alive the Vedic era, you will feel as if you are taken back into the era of the Mahabharat. It is a magical fantasy film complete with mythical palaces, nubile warrior princesses, heart stopping war and compelling landscape beauty. The architecture alone is worth seeing. Prodigious film making. Films like this come out maybe once a decade. Unfortunately, Baahubali 2 has been getting a lot of bad reviews since Bollywood fans can't seem to swallow the fact that the South Indian film industry came out with this film and basically surpassed Bollywood in all respects...it surpassed Bollywood in lavish sets, costumes and budget, surpassed Bollywood in sales and international acclaim, etc. Additionally, there is a strong Hindu theme in the film which many people have a problem with. I think everyone should see this film, justto see what the fuss is about. Then one can decide. The sheer beauty of the sets is something to marvel at.
