The crossover continues. If I'm being honest, I find it very hard to review this episode. It's kind of like the first time I saw The Avengers. My enjoyment clouds my judgment on how good the quality of the episode actually is. Sure, we've had Arrow and Flash crossover episodes the past two seasons, but nothing can quite compare to what The CW is attempting to accomplish this year. 4 shows colliding with each other with dozens of characters at their fingertips. I won't say it was perfect, but these episodes are undeniably fun and entertaining. Isn't that all I can really ask for?

Surprise surprise, we had heroes fighting heroes! We didn't make it more than a minute in the episode before Barry & Oliver took on most of the other costumed heroes. Admittedly, 2016 has been flooded with the whole heroes vs heroes idea, and to a certain extent it's getting old. But because these shows haven't had the opportunity to do that yet, I'll give them a pass. Plus, wasn't it pretty cool seeing most of these fights? I would have liked less CGI fighting and more hand to hand combat like Sara & Oliver's scuffle, but that's what we get with a CW budget.

Part of my love for the yearly crossovers comes by way of the simple things. Like the intro with all 4 logos, the music of each show coming together, or just Diggle freaking out over superpowers. It's stuff like this that can excel my enjoyment even higher, and I'm glad the show-runners take advantage of such things. It has to be a writer's dream and nightmare to have all of these characters to use as you like. Heatwave and Supergirl's banter? Pure gold. Or even just thinking about all the things each character had to catch up on with each other like Caitlin having powers, Iris finally finding out Oliver was the Green Arrow, or Barry's trip to Flashpoint. All seemed to flow nicely and create for some timely dialogue.

Actually, Flashpoint had a greater impact on tonight's episode than I imagined it would. That, and Barry's speech to the Legends about not trusting him when a "war comes" provided Barry's arc for the episode. I can't blame the Legends for being ticked, considering their very purpose as time travelers is to correct timelines that have been tampered with. But I also found it a little weird that the message supposedly had to do with Barry altering the timeline to Flashpoint. I'd like to think that there was more to that message than just the team shouldn't trust Barry, right? After all, why then would the message come from 40 years in the future instead of just a present timeline Barry?

As this episode was technically part 2 of 4, it's hard to give this episode a proper grade without seeing the finishing product, but there wasn't a whole lot to complain about here. I'm still not a fan of Wally complaining about people not believing in him. Seriously, just get him to being Kid Flash (stupidest name) or don't. Stop tinkering around. Or Stein's misplaced trip to his wife's/I guess his daughter's home (what was that about?). Other than that, everything was set up well for tomorrow. Keep this up CW!

+Everyone (almost), together!

+Heroes vs heroes worked for the most part

+Dig can't handle superpowers

+Leadership issues among the group made sense

+Everyone catching up

-Stein & Wally stuff was blahhh
