To Bee, Or Not To Bee?.... Is That The Question?
8 October 2016
Sorry to have to say this - But - For me, "Bee People" was not the "honey-of-a-documentary" that I was expecting it to bee... I mean, be.... No. It wasn't.

With a title like "Bee People" - I should have guessed that the focus of this presentation was gonna be on the "people" - And, not on the "bee". 'Cause that's exactly what happened here.

When it came to Bee People's narrator/host, Gregg McMahan - I found that he was (much to my growing annoyance) in my face more often than I would have liked him to bee... I mean, be.

If you ask me - I'd say that McMahan was a seriously unhinged dude. I mean, perhaps this guy had been stung in the head, far too often, by so many bees that he now believed himself to be "King of the Bees", or something equally off-the-wall like that. I just don't know.

Anyway - I do fully realize that this production was intended as a means to raise the viewer's awareness to the great service that bees are doing for all of us humans, as well as to the fact that the very existence of these tiny, busy creatures is now being threatened, big-time..... And, yes - For that information, I do thank this documentary greatly.
