Warning: Spoilers
***SPOILERS*** Boston Blackie played by Kent Taylor has a personal score to settle here in that a gang of armored car robbers, who already killed three people, killed his good friend office Tommy Adams as he was was about to write them out a ticket for making a wrong turn. This turned out to be a wrong turn of their part in that it lead to Boston Blackie tracking them down with the help of no one, the police were barking up the wrong tree, and bringing them to justice. Even though none of them lived long enough to see the inside of a courtroom.

It was a number of burned $50,00 bills found in the blasted out, with a bazooka, armored truck that lead Blackie to find out who the robbers & cop killers were. That's after one of them Frank Carson got cold feet and tried to check out on the other two who got to him before he could make his gateway from both the police or Boston Blackie as well as his fellow armored car robbers themselves.

***SPOILERS*** It's at a gravel pit outside town that Blackie finally found Tommy Adam's killers as well as the remaining armored car robbers and almost lost his life ,by being pushed down a cliff, in doing it. Still not deterred in what he went through and with his mind on business Blackie finished the two crooks off before the police lead by Inspector Faraday came on the scene. It was Blackie girlfriend Mary Wesley and pet white and tan dog Whitey who were more helpful to him then the police who seemed never to be there when he needed them!
