Yet again, the bad writing strikes

Warning: Spoilers
What a waste of perfect setup. This episode had everything going for it, from great performances to great action, but in the end, this episode is another failure to be filed under the Plague of Bad Writing. I'll get right into it (Spoiler Warning), the ending was garbage. There is absolutely NO reason for Barry to have given his speed to Zoom, especially not after we were told TIME and TIME again, over and over that Barry was, at that point, faster than Zoom. The only reason Zoom has Barry's speed is bad writing. There were so many different ways for Barry to have gotten Wally back that writing them all down is impossible. For one, just have Barry steal Wally back, if he's so much faster than Zoom. Another option would be to ambush Zoom when he came back, as they had all the opportunities in the world to do so. We know his reflexes are lacking because he was hit with The Boot, so what happened? Simply put, the setup we were given didn't gel with the undercooked climax that was tossed in our faces. The rest of the episode was phenomenal, however; enough so that it nearly makes up for the haphazardly written climax. Nearly.
