Aziz Ansari: Buried Alive (2013 TV Special)

Lost my respect
28 February 2016
Warning: Spoilers
I used to love Aziz, but honestly I couldn't get past the 12 minute mark on this one, because all he did was joke about pedophilia and the sole existence of babies - the babies didn't bother me as much cause I'm not a fan either. Joking about pedophilia is NOT OK, specially the way he made it sound like, saying he was such a cute kid he's surprised he was never raped! Or how kids who get molested by someone they know keep "letting" that happen. WTF, he really lost my respect right there; not funny, extremely disrespectful and stupid. I could never expect that from the creator of Master of None, which is a great funny series that approaches sexism and racism is a fun yet criticizing way, from someone who has always presented himself as someone politically correct, and one of the very few comedians who can make jokes that do not disrespect the existence of others. Big disappointment.
