Well meaning but anxious, this half hour early television anthology series episode features the wonderful but practically forgotten Ann Dvorak as the worried wife of the desperate John Galludet who finds a wallet and spends the money in it on a train ticket for an ill child. The wallet belongs to upper middle class Donald Woods who only wants a letter inside it from his estranged wife whom he longs to reconcile with. Dvorak begs Galludet to return it even though it might cost the life of her child. Thurston Hall has a brief role as Woods' lodge pal. It's all well meaning but rather plot heavy and strives too hard to be conscience wise without regards to reality. Still a curiosity for an antique television show, and definitely worth it to see Dvorak, once a top ingénue who could have been as big a star as Bette Davis had she wanted to be.
